The average failure for new cars in the U.S. is 108 defects per 100 vehicles. And for American brands, this figure is 112 defects per 100 vehicles, and for foreign - 106 defects per 100 vehicles. However, the leader of the rating, brand Lexus, the number of defects is much lower: only 84 cases for every 100 machines.Make Toyota (excluding cars, Lexus) has won first place in four categories, and its sub-brand Scion has won in the category of sports cars. Second place in the reliability of machines got brand new Porsche, and the third - an American brand Cadillac.
